Our Founder
Kristy (Kelly) Thompson founded Kat Wax in Castro Valley, CA in May 2022 to create positive and uplifting experiences for her clientele through waxing, lash extensions, and other modalities. Kelly loves being a small business owner because she can spend more one-on-one time with clients. She values inclusivity, especially among her clientele, as she strongly believes that everyone deserves the right to achieve their goal look.
